Different Kind of Interview

Greeting citizens! So, this post has been a nightmare to put together. I originally wanted this post to be an exclusive interview with Jacob Lopez. I had planned to conduct this interview at TCOIP HQ (aka Jake’s house). However, that was before the COVID-19 outbreak.

It is imperative that Jake self-quarantines during this crisis! As we have stated before, and I will state in the interview, Jake isn’t healthy enough to fight COVID-19. Simply put he will die. With that said we couldn’t have the sit-down interview I had originally planned. Thankfully we have technology!

Not wanting to waste a good idea we decided to have a video interview. That’s when we ran into our old friend technical difficulties. We couldn’t record during our interview and when we were able to record it would crash our call. Needless to say, it was a very stressful Saturday afternoon. I ended up having to send Jake my questions so he could record his answers. It wasn’t the ideal solution, but you work with what your given.

Now that I had the audio interview ready to go all I need to do was upload it to WordPress. Now to tell you how that went. I found out that I can’t upload audio files to the blog with my free domain. I would need to upgrade to one of the subscription plans. At the time of this post I am a college student and can’t afford to add another monthly payment. I have to eat you know. I may look into it more after school but its just not in the cards right now.

However, I can still embed and link videos with a free domain. I had to send the fully edited interview to Jake so he could upload it to YouTube. Then I can copy the link and put it here for you all to enjoy. So, after all this mess I can now say that the interview finally ready for your viewing pleasure. I’m defiantly going to try to get really interview, but that will have to wait till things cool down. Until then sit back, relax, and enjoy the interview.
