Put On Hold

Greeting citizens! So, a lot has been happening over the month hasn’t it. What started out as a wide spread out brake has turned into a global pandemic. With people being told to stay home for the foreseeable future. Honestly it sounds exactly like the beginning of a zombie movie.

Practically everything is being closed to slow the spread of the virus. Including the show. I’m sorry to report that production of the show is currently being postponed. This decision was made to insure the health and well-being of cast, especially Jacob.

In case you haven’t heard it before Jake has really bad asthma. Putting him at super high risk if he were to contract Covid-19, basically he’d die. Meaning he has to social distance in order to protect himself. With the way we currently have things set up that mean we can’t continue recording the podcast.

Our current set up is that the cast will go to Jakob to record their lines for the show. As I previously sated, we can’t do that and risk Jakob’s health. Along with the fact that only two of our cast have their own mics to record from home. This puts us in a bit of a rough spot right now. However, that might not be the case for long.

If more of our cast were able to get mics then we could continue the show. It would take a little longer to do, but it could be done. As of right Jake, Jason (voice of Roster), and Al (co-writer and voice of Freddy) have mics and can record from home. Eric (voice of Veronykis and host of BtS) can record from his phone, who knew iPhone had good mics. Steph (voice of Fire woman and lead musician) and Hanna (voice of Harley) are in talks of getting mics as well. However, we do have people coming in to record voices for the last three episodes of this season.

We’re still working things out. For now, the podcast is on hold, but don’t worry its only temporary. Jake is still writing for season two. I also have an idea of something in the works while we wait. Until then stay safe, wash your hands, and be good people.

This is Matt signing out!
