Greetings citizens, my name is Matthew Fierros. I am the lead graphic designer of the TCOIP podcast. I am here to introduce The Low Sec Chronicles, the official companion blog to the TCOIP podcast. Scenic the podcasts debut in August 2019, it has expanded faster than we could have anticipated. I would like to take this moment to thank all of you for listening to the show.
With that growth Jacob Lopez (creator) has his hands full; writing, directing, casting, acting, and battling asthma. Thankfully our executive producer Al Shuler has stepped in to help with; writing, casting, acting and promoting the show. With that said there is still a lot more that needs to be done. As such I decided to help out as well. This blog is meant to give you listeners updates and other behind the scenes news.
Now a little bit about me. I’m currently a collage senior working towards a degree in digital media, with a minor in graphic design. I know that may sound backwards and it is. It’s an extremely long story meant to have its own page. So, back to the fun stuff. I enjoy drawing, video-games, comics, movies, and tokusatsu. Some of my favorite movies are Star Wars, Marvel, Alien, Heavy wights, Godzilla, but my number one is Robocop.
How did I get involved with the podcast? It all started when I began posting my own digital art. During that time, I was asking Lopez for help editing for my designs before I posted. Then when Lopez starting production on TCOIP he asked me to design the logo. Scenic then I have been the one making the logos, factions, and shirt designs. Also, he’s my cousin so that’s how we actually meet, but it’s not nepotism.
